Shortened links deserve your attention first. They hide the real destination and can take you to a phishing page dressed up as a major retailer. Before typing in a password or card number, look at the address shown in your browser. Fake coupon codes are also everywhere; they exist to drive traffic or to get you to install a shady browser extension. Be suspicious of giveaways where you have "won" and only need to pay shipping, of pop-up shops with unbelievable prices and no company details or reachable customer service, and of any deal that insists on a bank transfer or a prepaid card. If a price looks too good to be true, compare it on the brand's official site.

We accept deal channels that are open about how they make money, link to identifiable retailers and do not invent codes. We reject account resellers, suspiciously cheap gift cards, refund fraud methods and channels that rely heavily on opaque shortened links.
