Le Canal Inutile takes its own uselessness rather seriously. The public preview shows photos of repurposed objects, misleading packaging, unlikely road signs, oddly shaped food and animals with unsettling expressions. A few film set snapshots and pop culture images also find their way into the feed.
Each image carries a very short caption in French, often just a noun phrase of a few words, that names what you see with mock obviousness or a play on words. Nothing more: no comment, no link. Posts appear two or three times a week, sometimes with several images on the same day built around one idea.
